Terms & conditions
1. Payment Policy
All payments will be taken on the 1st of each month by subscription through ClassForKids.
We kindly ask that all payments are made on time, unless you have made alternative arrangements with Dance Addiction. No refunds are given for days when the student is not in attendance. Dance Addiction reserves the right to change fees. However, we always endeavour to inform parents/guardians of any changes with plenty of notice.
ClassForKids is our method of payment. Please note you will be placed on the correct subscription package that covers you for all classes that your child attends at Dance Addiction. Your payment amount will cover you for classes over 37 weeks of the year split into EQUAL monthly payments.
We kindly ask that you give 1 month notice before ending your ClassForKids subscription, charges will apply for notice period. If you notify us of changes after monthly payment has been taken on the 1st, no refund will be given. If at the discretion of Dance Addiction a refund is decided upon, admin fees will be applied for refund process.
If your child joins after the 1st of the month, there will be a cover charge to cover any classes attended before the 1st payment has been made.
Workshop payments: Places are only secured once full payment has been made and will be non-refundable.
Show payments: Please note that any costume payments must be made in full before student’s will receive their costumes. At Dance Addiction we strive to make show payments as reasonable as possible. Tickets for our shows are non-refundable. Please be aware that charges may be applied for any extra show rehearsals.
2. Attendance
It is of great benefit to all students to avoid missing any classes. Especially those that train to compete or in the run up to shows. However, we do understand that absences sometimes cannot be avoided. In this circumstance we kindly ask that you contact the coach taking the class to make them aware.
3.Contact
Please note you will be added to the appropriate what's app groups for your child's class. This will be used to keep you updated with any relevant information.
4. Dress Code
Student’s are expected to wear the Dance Addiction t-shirt to classes (can be purchased through our uniform website). All other uniform items are optional. Students should also ensure that they have the appropriate footwear for classes. Please note we do not specify a type of trainer for dancers, anything comfortable and suitable is perfect! Contemporary dancers should wear black contemporary shoes to classes.
5.Safeguarding
Our prime responsibility is the welfare and well being of all students in our care at Dance Addiction. As such we believe that we have a duty to our students, parents/guardians and our staff to act quickly and responsibly in any instance that may come to our attention.
First aid may need to be administered during classes if any students become injured or have any accidents. Please ensure that you have granted permission on our registration form. If your child is attending any classes at Dance Addiction and is already aware of an injury that they are carrying, we ask that you inform coaches before attendance.
Dance Addiction will not disclose your contact information to third parties except where you have given permission for us to do so.
6. Media Permission
We ask for parents/guardians to grant permission for Dance Addiction to take photographs and videos of students. No personal information is ever used or linked to any content used for social media. If permission is granted on our registration form, we may use images & video content for social media, advertising purposes (both for printing and online).
7.Attending other dance classes
We kindly ask that we are made aware of any other dance schools your child is attending at the same time as attending classes at Dance Addiction.
Dance Addiction reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time for the benefit of the business, staff or participants.
